Welcome to the Bishop Tom Flanagan Golf Classic
The Bishop Tom Flanagan Classic has raised over $500,000 for Habitat of Humanity of San Antonio over the past nine years. The Knights of Columbus, a Catholic men's group, has organized the golf tournament and auction party, and provided the labor to construct eight homes for well deserving homeowners in San Antonio. Volunteers and teams come from the many Councils in the Archdiocese of San Antonio.

Title Sponsor - John McNair Homes
The tournament would not be the success it is without the leadership of John McNair, local homebuilder and benefactor. John McNair has provided a large number of the tournament supporters from his business associates. Other Platinum sponsors are Catholic Cemeteries of San Antonio, MG Building Materials, Sam's Club, and North Park Lincoln Mercury.

Habitat for Humanity
The San Antonio affiliate of Habitat for Humanity is a nationwide leader in providing housing for well-deserving applicants. The program is not a handout--applicants must be employed, pass a screening, put in hours of "sweat equity," and obtain and pay the mortgage. Over 500 families have obtained housing in San Antonio.

Auction Party - Saturday, April 12
The Auction Party and Casino Night is scheduled for Saturday, April 12, at Retama Park. Paid golfers should receive two tickets for the Auction Party. If not, identify which team you are on at the door. If you are not a golf player, tickets are available at the door for $25 per person.

The party is in the big white tent next to the racetrack. There will be heavy hors d'oerves, two free drinks, cash bar, $1000 in casino money, entertainment, and lots of fun. We'll have Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Texas Hold 'em, and door prizes. Redeem your winnings for tickets to have a chance for prizes. There will be a silent and a live auction. We'll open the doors at 7 pm and run until 11 pm. You can park in the "Valet Parking" area right next to the white tent.

Golf Tournament - Monday April 14
The Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, April 14, at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort. Click Here to download the Tournament Flyer. The golf tournament will begin with registration from 11 am to noon. There will be a box lunch, you will receive a "Goody Bag," and there are free balls for the driving range. At 12:35 pm we will begin with a band, the Presentation of Colors, and a Prayer by Bishop Tom Flanagan. We will head out at 12:50 for a 1:00 pm Shotgun Tee off. At the end of the tournament, prizes will be distributed after a full meal served by the Outback Steakhouse. More information is available - look at the Resources link on the left navigation bar.
